Farm Camp 2021

Let Your Children Experience Farm Life

Farm Camp

(Ages 6-12)

Back Home Farms "Farm Camp" is a fun-filled learning experience where your child will spend two days fully immersed in the daily workings of our farm.

​

Campers age 6-12 will spend August 11th & 12th from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM here on our farm, learning how to interact and understand where their food comes from, and to impart a greater appreciation for the effort that farmers make to grow healthy, fresh food, and also have a basic understanding of how food directly affects how we feel.

Farm Camp happens 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM Wednesday and Thursday and is limited to 10 campers.

 

Below is a short overview of each of the days:

 

Daily - bottle feed the baby calves, collect eggs and feed the chickens, create and write in a farm journal.

​

● Wednesday - caring for and riding our horses, Hobby & Boomerang - learn about all things sheep - learn about growing veggies

 

● Thursday - Learn about and help care for the pigs and then build a gingerbread barn in the afternoon!

Camp is $130 per child and you can pay by sending a check (made out to Back Home Farms) or by calling Judi (218-616-2333) to pay with a debit or credit card.

 

Your payment is refundable until 6 weeks before camp (June 30th). Transferable within the same year after that.

Lil Farm Hand Camp

(Ages 2-5)
Adult chaperone must accompany child

Back Home Farms "Lil Farm Hand Camp" is a fun-filled learning experience that your child will never forget. Let your child be entertained, educated and amazed by the everyday wonders of the farm. They will love the hands on interaction with the animals.

​

Campers age 2-5 will spend Sunday, August 15th with us and their chaperone here on our farm from 1pm to 3pm, learning how to interact and understand animals.
